Still life

Architects do make mistakes. It is not about a leaking roof, or about unscrupulous entrepreneurial construction projects in the Holy Capital race. Architects make mistakes even when they make an enormous effort to stick to proper tenets and achieve professional perfection. The mistake reveals itself in a fixation to create perfect images – final frozen pictures of the physical appearance of architecture and a city. It sounds like a diagnosis of a hereditary architectural disease – obsession with immaculate frames of ‘still life’.
